At a time when many Americans are facing rising healthcare costs, Liberty HealthShare is continuing to move in a different direction.
For the second consecutive year, Liberty HealthShare is reducing monthly share amounts for members in its most popular healthcare sharing programs. Effective June 1, family share contribution amounts for Liberty Essential, Liberty Connect, and Liberty Unite will decrease by an average of 16%.
These reductions reflect Liberty HealthShare’s ongoing commitment to affordability, stewardship, and providing members with meaningful alternatives to traditional health insurance.
Last year, Liberty HealthShare reduced unshareable amounts for members across all of its medical sharing programs. This year’s reductions build on that momentum and further strengthen Liberty’s position as one of the country’s most affordable established healthcare sharing ministries.
“Through careful stewardship, responsible healthcare utilization by members, and continued enrollment growth, Liberty HealthShare has been able to reduce monthly share amounts while continuing to strengthen member programs,” said Dorsey Morrow, chief executive officer.
The ministry has now recorded year-over-year enrollment growth for 20 consecutive months, reflecting the growing appeal of healthcare sharing among individuals and families seeking affordable healthcare solutions.
Earlier this month, Liberty HealthShare also announced that it was returning more than $2 million to members as a result of the ministry’s wise financial stewardship.
“It’s our members’ money and we are thrilled to be able to return it to them,” Morrow said. “Our ability to do this is evidence that healthsharing works and enables our members to better manage their healthcare expenses.”
Liberty HealthShare has also recently received national recognition for stewardship and transparency, including earning the only 5-star efficiency rating among healthcare sharing ministries from MinistryWatch.

Beginning June 1, monthly family share amounts for the following programs will be:
Liberty Essential
Liberty Connect
Liberty Unite
Liberty HealthShare offers six medical cost sharing programs for individuals and families seeking an affordable, faith-based alternative to health insurance. Programs include features such as telehealth visits, prescription discounts, and access to wellness-focused healthcare options.
As a healthcare sharing ministry and not insurance, Liberty HealthShare offers year-round enrollment without requiring a qualifying life event.
