Because the National Vision Administrators’ website, Member Portal, and app also serve vision insurance customers, the website, portal, and app frequently use terminology commonly used in the insurance industry, such as “benefits”, “coverage”, “deductible”, “co-pay”, “co-insurance”, etc. These terms are not applicable to the Liberty HealthShare Vision Sharing Program or its members because Liberty HealthShare’s Vision Sharing Program is a voluntary member-to-member Health Care Sharing Ministry. Liberty HealthShare’s Vision Sharing Program is not an insurance company nor is it offered through an insurance company. This program does not guarantee or promise that your vision care expenses will be paid or assigned to others for payment. Whether anyone chooses to pay your vision care expenses will be totally voluntary. As such, this program should never be considered as a substitute for an insurance policy.
