No. You don’t have to wait for open enrollment to join a healthshare. Unlike health insurance, healthcare sharing ministries such as Liberty HealthShare accept membership applications throughout the year. You can enroll at any time and choose a future membership effective date. For example, even if your current health insurance continues through December 31, you can enroll in Liberty HealthShare today, select Jan. 1, 2027, as your effective date and pay nothing, including the application fee, until January.
