Liberty Assist, Liberty HealthShare’s Medicare companion program for those enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B, recently became a better value for cost-conscious seniors looking to share eligible medical expenses in a like-minded community.
The sharing program’s Annual Unshared Amount has been reduced from $1,500 to just $500, effective May 1, 2025 according to a recent news release from the ministry.“Inflation has hit seniors on fixed incomes particularly hard, and this reduction could save our members up to $1,000 per year,” said Dorsey Morrow, Liberty HealthShare chief executive officer.
With monthly share amounts starting at just $87, Liberty Assist is an even greater value for those on Medicare looking to manage rising healthcare costs. Members also enjoy a suite of discounts on everything from prescription drugs to LASIK surgery.
