Transparency isn’t a one-time achievement. It’s an ongoing commitment.
That’s why we’re honored to once again earn Candid’s Gold Seal, recognizing Liberty HealthShare’s continued commitment to transparency and accountability as a nonprofit Christian healthcare sharing ministry.
The 2026 recognition marks the fifth consecutive year Liberty HealthShare has received the Gold Seal from Candid, an organization that helps donors and the public make informed decisions by evaluating nonprofit transparency.
Less than two percent of the approximately 1.8 million nonprofit organizations profiled by Candid have earned the Gold Seal.
Liberty HealthShare’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and stewardship has been recognized by respected independent organizations.
Each organization evaluates nonprofits using different standards, but together they provide independent validation of Liberty HealthShare’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and faithful stewardship.
Healthcare sharing is built on trust.
Every month, Liberty HealthShare members voluntarily contribute to help other members who have eligible medical expenses. Because of that, we believe members deserve to understand how the ministry operates, how resources are managed, and how decisions are made.
Transparency helps people make informed decisions. It also strengthens trust.
That’s why we’ve continued expanding the information we make publicly available, including financial information, operational updates, and regular communication about our ministry’s impact.
As Liberty HealthShare Chief Executive Officer Dorsey Morrow explains: “Trust is earned through transparency and faithful stewardship. Our members voluntarily share with one another because they trust us to responsibly steward the resources they contribute. We welcome independent evaluations because they demonstrate our commitment to operating with integrity, accountability, and openness.”
No two evaluators measure organizations in exactly the same way.
Each looks at Liberty HealthShare through a different lens. While their evaluation methods differ, each offers an independent perspective on how Liberty HealthShare operates as a nonprofit ministry.
The fact that all have recognized Liberty HealthShare reflects a consistent commitment to operating with integrity and being responsible stewards of the resources entrusted to us by our members.
As Morrow said: “Organizations such as Candid, Charity Navigator, and MinistryWatch each evaluate nonprofits using different criteria. Receiving recognition from all three provides meaningful, independent validation of our commitment to transparency, accountability, and stewardship. Our goal isn’t simply to earn recognition; it’s to earn the trust of every member who chooses Liberty HealthShare.”
Recognition from respected nonprofit organizations is meaningful, but it’s not the goal.
Our goal is to continually strengthen the trust our members place in us by operating openly, stewarding their contributions responsibly, and providing the information they need to make informed decisions.
As we continue serving our growing community of members, we remain committed to operating with transparency, accountability, and faithful stewardship, because that's how trust is earned.
