We are pleased to introduce you to Marlon for this month’s Spotlight. He’s been at Liberty HealthShare for less than eight months, and his role on our sales team is to educate people about healthsharing and Liberty HealthShare.
As a licensed minister, his relationship with Jesus fuels his desire to serve his colleagues and our members.
Taking the time to learn about an individual’s needs, ways our community can meet those needs, and showing God’s love to everyone he meets is rewarding for him.
He recalls speaking to a member and his encouragement led an individual to make a decision she had been considering. It confirmed that God would use him in His work to minister to others.
“Keep the Lord at the forefront of everything with prayer because this prevents us from depending solely upon ourselves and leaves space for Him to operate in our lives,” he said.
Marlon describes Liberty HealthShare in three words: diversity, vision and durability. “As our CEO Dorsey Morrow leads our ministry and as we have a variety of backgrounds and experiences within our workplace, our ministry provides a place where we strengthen and grow together,” he said.
His favorite scripture is Philippians 1:6, “I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will continue to perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].”
He and his wife, Shelletta, enjoy helping people “walk out” God’s principles. In the future, he plans to establish a ministry impact training center that leads people to salvation in Christ and helps them discover their callings and purpose.
